Anyone who does business internationally, or plans to, is involved with employees working abroad: expats. Borrie Expatriate Services focuses primarily on assisting employers with posting staff abroad. This can mean employees resident in the Netherlands who go to work (and probably also live) abroad or employees who are not Dutch residents and (whether or not in the context of the concern) come to work (and live) in the Netherlands.

Fred Krabbendam

Fred Krabbendam werkt ruim vijfentwintig jaar als belastingadviseur; onder meer bij het toenmalige Coopers & Lybrand (PWC) en BDO. Fred is sinds 2005 verbonden aan Borrie, waar hij zich richt op de uitbouw van Borrie Expatriate Services.
Fred Krabbendam is iemand met verstand van de theorie en met veel aandacht voor de praktijk. ‘Ik houd absoluut niet van langdradige theoretische verhandelingen. De klant heeft veel meer baat bij een concreet en praktisch advies, dat vergezeld gaat van een duidelijk stappen- en actieplan. Betrokkenheid is een ander punt dat de relatie met mijn klanten typeert. Je moet je klanten kennen: weten waar ze staan, weten waar ze heen willen. Korte lijnen zijn daarom belangrijk. Als je kwaliteit en betrokkenheid bij elkaar neemt, dan heb je de snelste weg naar tevredenheid bij je klanten gevonden. Op die manier werken we nu aan een compleet pakket van Expatriate Services, waarbij we ervoor zorgen dat tegen concurrerende tarieven het best bereikbare evenwicht gevonden wordt tussen klant en expat.’
Frank Post

‘On the interface between the private and business sphere.’
Frank Post started with BDO after gaining his HEAO qualification (higher education in economics and management). After studying fiscal law at the University of Amsterdam, he applied himself to advising SMEs. In 2006, he moved to Borrie.
‘As all-round tax adviser, I advise a large number of owner-director and wealthy private individuals. I am also the person people come to with questions about pensions and business succession. If that’s your role, you must be able to serve as discussion partner on the interface between the private and business sphere. I want to make my clients feel that they can always count on me and that they can entrust their financial affairs to me with confidence. Communication and trust are naturally the keywords in that case. Apart from that, I find it fascinating to convey what I know to colleagues and clients, and I never give up until I’ve found the solution.’
